Heuer – 980.006 Jumbo

In this pre-Tag Heuer era, Heuer decided to go into the ‘divers’market which this stylish 980 model.

It became a very popular model which was first manufactured in Monnin in France, and later in Switserland.

This Swiss made model is combined with a vintage rally strap and is fully serviced.

This 1984 model was called the Jumbo due to its size which was particularly large for the Diver models at the time.

The 980 models continued towards the early 90’s with the Tag-Heuer brand.

Heuer and motorsports go hand-in-hand. The link to Porsche goes back towards the 1970’s and iconic movies like LeMans with Steve McQueen still are used to show the rands racing heritage.
