Toine Hezeman in his winning Alfa Tipo33/3 Spider
The Alfa Romeo Type 33 was a prototype that was raced between 1967 and 1977. Several variants were released that became very successful from 1971 onwards.
The Tipo 33/3 competed in the famous and challenging Targe Florio Rally in Sicily in 1971. The team scored a 1-2 with Toine Hezemans and Vaccalerra's car as the winning car. Gijs van lennep finished 2nd here with teammate Adamich.
