For many, Ayrton Senna is the best driver of all time. After a disappointing 93 season at McLaren, Senna in 1994 finally went to the best team of the grid: Williams. The first races of the season were difficult because the FW16 was less stable than its predecessors. Also the resistance was high by mainly Michael Schumacher in his Benneton.
On May 1, 1994, the unthinkable happened. In a weekend which already shook the world with the heavy accidents of Rubens Barichello and Ronald Ratzenberger, Ayrton Senna crashes and in the 6th lap of the race in the famous Tamburello corner.
