Description
The Porsche 356 was the first 'real' Porsche to hit the market. Ferdinant Porsche designed the successor to the Porsche 64 after the Second World War, and in 1948 the first prototype of the 356 was built from aluminium. In 1950, the brand and production moved to Stuttgart, where it is still based today.
The 356 work used in many different races, such as the targa florio, 24h of LeMans and also the world-famous Mille Miglia.
French artist Stephane Dufour has found a very quirky way to immortalise these iconic models. It starts by creating the basic design, which is made entirely of clay. Using the clay design, a mould is created, which is later used in making a small and limited series. The coloured casting resin is poured into the mould and after curing, the product is carefully sanded to achieve a completely smooth surface.
The designs are one of a kind and have a strong premium look, ideal for in living room, study room or office.
