Old legends revived with the art of AfterTheRace. Designs and stripings of legendary cars and races are brought back to life in a completely unique and detailed way. The artworks deserve a prominent place in everyone's living room, study or office.
This artwork was created in honour of Jim Clark and his world titles with Lotus.
Jim Clark is one of the greatest talents in motorsport history. Less known to the current generation, but certainly a great champion from the days of Graham Hill and Jacky Steward. In 1965, he managed to win the Formula 1 championship by force with six victories. The innovative Lotus team and Jim Clark were a very strong combination.
AfterTheRace
AFTER THE RACE is a duo born out of true friendship. A friendship between Jean-Denis Claessens and Edmond Thonnard (aka Pogo). Jean-Denis is a graphic designer, skilled entrepreneur and, since childhood, fond of cars. Pogo is a versatile painter and artist, with vast experience in street art.
These two Belgians are proud to make this unique product together. The techniques they employ are innovative, bold and quirky.

- Its authentic 'lived-in' (patina) is achieved through a combination of different treatments and techniques.
- Each artwork is a unique piece, a masterpiece signed by the artist
- Materials used: iron-lacquer, oil, rubber from racing tyres, and other ingredients
- The work can be sold loose or in a custom-made baking frame

- Each customer's wishes are different. To guarantee completely customised work, the artwork is only started after extensive consultation between Jean-Denis and the customer.
