Original painting: Daytona 24h event poster with iconic Porsche RSR
In 1973, the classic Daytona 24h took place again. The battle between the Porsche's RSR and the Ferrari's were iconic. From the 53 started cars, only 19 managed to finished with an undisputed winner, the Brumos Porsche RSR of Gregg and Haywood.
This painting is the first of a new series of ' event posters ' by Tom Sangen. The Porsche is depicted with classic elements such as the fuel-cap in the front bonnet. Also a lot of thoughts went out to the used colors of car and canvas.
This original painting is available and beautifully combined with a wooden baklijst.
