Description
For many, Ayrton Senna is the best driver of all time. After a disappointing period at McLaren, Senna was finally able to move to the best team on the grid in 1994: Williams. The first races of the season were difficult as the FW16 was less stable than its predecessors. The opposition was also high due mainly to Michael Schumacher in his Benneton.
On 1 May 1994, the unthinkable happened. In a weekend that was already filled with the serious accidents of Rubens Barichello and Ronald Ratzenberger, Ayrton Senna crashed on the 6th lap of the race in the famous Tamburello corner.
With this painting, Tom Havlasek shows again how good he is.
