The team behind the painting: AfterTheRace

What makes automotive art so appealing? It tells a story.... It is heroic, dramatic, unique and always intense.

Stories abound, think of the Porsche 911, the 917 and classic cars from Formula 1. They are often remembered for the distinctive colour patterns such as Martini, Gulf, Marlboro, but certainly Bastos in distinctive red or Jägermeister in orange.

Jean-Denis and Pogo know how to capture these stories in unique ways: high-profile designs, each with its own unique story.

The secret?

When you meet and talk to Jean-Denis, this soon becomes clear. The man is steeped in motorsport and petrol flows through his veins, that much is clear. He always has a motorsport storyline in his head, which he can turn into a basic design with his graphic design background. Then he and his friend Pogo bring this to life together using Pogo's expressive qualities....

Racing gives dust ... Rallye gives mud tracks, a road race gives rubber splashes, stone chips and oil... This is their style and is what makes their work so distinctive and exciting. Standing in front of it, you are looking at a living work of art, where you relive the race, can feel and even smell it. Each time you read a new chapter of the story hanging on your wall.

Want to experience this for yourself? Then come to Spa Classic at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit from 18-20 May. Jean-Denis and Pogo will both be present to share their art, passion and work with us....
